ADMISSION DETAILS

The courses are termed as 1st year, 2nd year and 3rd year. Candidates have to take admission to respective courses every year. Every student has an option to leave the college at the end of any year, for any reason. The qualified student is awarded with the certificate for that year. The essential knowledge is imparted in the first year itself. The syllabus of courses are designed to imbibe the essential knowledge of manually casting a birth and horary charts and also independently interpreting the same in traditional and KP system, by the end of 1st Year course, itself, i.e., Jyotishya Praveena (KP). Advanced concepts are included in the 2nd and 3rd years for the students to attain higher levels of knowledge and mastery in the subject.


AWARDS & RECOGNITION

Prizes are distributed to the toppers from each course, every year. The interest amount received on the college corpus fund would be used for the same.

METHOD OF INSTRUCTION & STUDY MATERIAL

The entire course will be covered by practical exercises, case studies and discussions. The following study material is used during these courses.

• A book by Guruji Predictive Stellar Astrology, 3rd Edition (Released in March 1996 on the eve of the Institute’s Decennial    celebrations along with Institute’s Souvenir)
• Telugu translation of the above book by Prof.C. Sambasiva Rao, Chairman of the College (Published in 2013)
• Astrology Ready Reckoner

Apart from the above reference material, copies of recent Ephemeris and table of ascendants are made available to students. For further clarifications, notes on the relevant topics are given in detail in class room lectures. To initiate practical experience, Case Studies on relevant topics are included. For a deeper understanding of the subject - all efforts are made by faculty to clear the doubts of individual students

Note: The Syllabus for every course is reviewed and revised, if need be, by the Managing Committee depending on the feedback from students and also the changing social and economic trends where an astrological study is worth.
  JYOTISHYA PRAVEENA (1st Year Course)
DESCRIPTION
This course emphasises is on casting of Horoscope in the first
semester. Interpretation of Horoscope is dealt with in the second
semester. The emphasis is on K P System while the fundamentals of
Vedic system of Astrology are the essential input. It is aimed to
enable the candidate to manually cast the Horoscope both in
Traditional system and in K P System.

This course is on interpretation of horoscope in an advanced way,

System, Ashtakavarga System, Numerology, Palmistry etc.
